Golden Retriever Puppies are so smart and loyal at such a young age. They are a social and spirited dog! Training your puppy should be much easier than training other breeds. A puppy who is hard to train(especially potty training), in my opinion, is almost always human error! Golden Retrievers instinctively want to please so with corrective teaching and reinforcement, training should not be difficult.
Because they are easy to train, gentle and loving, yet strong and dedicated, many have made wonderful search and rescue dogs, detection dogs, hunters, retrievers and therapy dogs. Making them not only the perfect family pet, but the perfect pet in the workplace as well!
Our puppies come in several shades, from a dark lustrous, rich golden all the way to the light, almost white golden. Golden Retrievers have beautiful dense coats and grooming is at a medium level. Golden Retriever coats look best when brushed several times a week and they should visit the groomer at least three to four times a year.
Golden Retriever Puppies are ready for their new homes at 8 weeks. Puppies will go home with AKC limited registration, a vet health checklist, shot/worming record, a Purina Puppy Chow Kit, sample of Purina puppy chow, toys, biscuits, and a blanket with moms scent lovingly attached!
